My art practice is a combination of creating and teaching contemporary arts and traditional Anishinaabe arts. Printmaking, especially linocut, is my area of specialty. I enjoy creating and carving these blocks, and adding gouache, watercolor and colored pencil to transform them into mixed-media illustrations. Though I have a background in fine arts, I have found creating art for people to adorn their homes, gift to loved ones, or otherwise enhance their lives to be the most fulfilling: art should be accessible, aftercall. My work is a combination of science meets storybook illustration, drawing inspiration from family history, stories, emotions, dreams and the nature and wildlife that call Michigan home.

Below are a series of galleries showcasing my personal work as well as previous workshops. Clicking the arrows to the left and right of the photo set will show you the entire collection. Scrolling down will show you additional galleries.
